Finger Foods

I said I was never going to be one of those mommies who ate scraps off their kids' trays, but I'm going to have to put a small caveat on that statement after this morning.

When one of your sweet sons picks up a tiny bite of toast and not only offers it to you, but wants to feed it to you AND when you know how much that same son loves his toast bits and that parting with one of them means less for him but he wants you to have it anyway, you do the only thing you can do: you let him feed it to you while your heart explodes and then melts into a little gooey mess.

Best toast I ever had. Thank you Nate.

My Words: They Taste Good

To everyone who remembers how I said I wouldn't be one to dress my boys the same: I lied. I totally do it. All the time. And I love it.

Eating my own words however, is not nearly as fun. I decided to enjoy mine with a glass of Sibling Rivalry red Saturday night after the boys were asleep. It turned out to be a nice pairing.

I just hope it's the only kind of sibling rivalry we'll be seeing around our home.
