– In case you is not linear thinker, I also put Mommy to work on pie graph. As you can see I clean Mommy's clock in big debate so she not saying anything about my new coif.

– I take a moment to bask in well-earned victory.

– And give thumbs up to everyone who help me win it. Is nice to know so many of you believe in the "bananas on head" cause. It mean a lot. Keep up the good work everyone!

Mommy note: This post would not be complete without a victory dance, however much like Michigan J. Frog, Seth does his best footwork when the camera is off. And unlike our last video which was epic in length, the victory dance portion of this post is our shortest video to date – a mere 8 seconds – but I did capture at least a little of Seth's infamous moves that Gamma Rita dubbed "the Bojangles" when she visited us last summer.

Dancing Nate Part II: The Pirate Edition

Dancing Nate returns!

Our new Fisher Price™ pirate ship plays a variety of sounds when you press the parrot's perch – everything from parrot squawks to cannon fire to seagulls and ocean waves. It also plays a rather jaunty seafaring tune. It took Nate less than 10 minutes from the time he first laid eyes on their new toy to figuring out that his favorite new dance hit would play if he just kept hitting that perch.

And of course I wouldn't be taunting you with any of this if there wasn't a new video up on our YouTube™ channel.

Highlights (other than Dancing Nate getting his groove on) include:

• Nate jumping the gun on his dance moves around the 1:14 mark, just when he was so sure he had it all figured out.

• Seth finally cracking a smile around the 2:14 mark, since he is mostly like this for the entirety of the video:

In his defense pirates are serious business everyone (of course, you should already know this), but what made him smile was me saying "Bless you and Gesundheit!" after he sneezed. Because I always say that and it always makes him smile. Not shown: me actually saying "Bless you and Gesundheit!" but trust me, that's what got the big grin.

Now you already know that Nate is full of comedy gold and that he not only emotes well on camera but has the ability to see into your very soul. He's got at least one special skilltricks up his sleeves – and now proven dance moves too!

I'm going to go ahead and file this post under "career possibilities" since there's every reason to think I might have a future entertainer on my hands. Now go watch that video (if you haven't already) so you can mean it when you say you "knew him when".

Birthday Cute: Some New Clothes

It wasn't all about the toys. Sometimes a new pair of coveralls and a colorful onesie is just as much fun. Well, for me anyway. I couldn't wait to get the boys dressed this morning and take some pics of them in their cute new outfits from Grandma Leslie.

Classic Seth pose, complete with tongue sticking out. It was all I could do not to put down the camera so I could poke it

Fortunately Seth got distracted so I didn't have to.

The one clear picture I took of Nate. He's looking a little forlorn for some reason, but that didn't last long. Once he discovered his new drum was nearby, the rest of the pictures looked something like this:

And this:

So I gave up with the picture taking and hit "record" instead. Head on over to our YouTube™ channel to check out Nate's drumming and dance moves.
