It Wouldn't Be Summer...


... without at least one summer cold. It turns out some of that exhaustion in my previous post was due to a case of the cooties coming on and as such, we've had to spend a fair bit of time cooped up this past week. Thanks to Grandma Leslie we had at least one indoor activity covered:



– Here is my little chicken going to the grocery store...*

*I had a bad feeling about a chicken on her way to the grocery store, but rest assured, she made it back home "to her little coop" again safely.

    I am so sorry to hear that you have colds, Nate and Seth. That is not fun at all!

    It is good to see that you are playing with the little farm animals from Chirp Magazine. Seth, I am so happy that your little chicken is going to the grocery store to buy good food for you, Nate, Mommy and Gamma Rita to eat.

    Nate and Seth, I hope that you will show me some other things you like to read and play with in Chirp Magazine the next time Grandpa David and I come to visit with you.
